Does the BRC offer CCW Classes
The BRC recommends the Personal Protection in the Home (PPIH) that meets all CO State Requirements for a CCW
Are classes open to the public
All NRA Classes are Open to the Public
Is the PPIH OK for new shooter
The PPIH is tailored for all levels of shooter from beginning to experienced
How Much does the Personal Protection in the Home Cost
$100 for non-BRC members $75 for BRC members
How long is the PPIH Class
The class is 12 hours total (four three hour sessions) Weekday sessions are held 6:30-9:30 PM and weekend sessions
are held 2:00-5:00 PM
Can we register online or by phone with a credit card
No - we are volunteer organization and can only accept printed, mailed in Registration Form
Do you offer Weekend Only Classes
No - to offer the most comprehensive class it can not be accomplished over a one or two day period
Do you have to be a member of the NRA
No - NRA membership is not required
Does the PPIH include live fire
Yes - the second session of each class includes live fire exercises
Do you need to own a handgun to take PPIH
No - The BRC provides various caliber handguns for the class
What if I miss one of the classes
With the exception of the first class, missed classes can be made up in future classes
How long is the NRA Certificate good for
Ten years from the date of issue
